The kingdom of the Polar Bear and the Inuit, a barren land of ice and snow. We visited Svalbard and were overawed by this magnificent land. Glaciers in abundance, retreating and calving, mountains with points, ( Spitzbergen ) was the old name given to this land. The Arctic Ocean has much life with sea mammals, such as Whales, Dolphins, seals and of course the Polar Bear. It was a trip of a lifetime, ingrained in the mind !!
