Lofoten

The Lofotens lslands lie off the N/W coast of Norway. A precipitous range of mountains predominate the landscape. A harsh enviroment where fishing communities thrive due to the Cod that are abundant in the Norwegian sea. Within the Arctic circle winter is garunteed snow till even May. Due to it's location Aurora Borelis and the Midnight sun are the extremes of winter and summer.
